The event having been met with outpouring compliments and stumping feet approval not only from the crowd but by no other than The Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor of Bristol - Royston Alan Griffey, Member of Parliament Stephen Williams for Bristol West, and delegates from the Philippine Embassy in London: Consul Bernadette Therese Fernandez and Attache Elizabeth Cunanan, let these not get into our heads and let us not sit on the laurels that we have just reaped. Instead, let these serve as springboard to propel us to greater heights and achieve the dreams that the Association of Filipinos in Bristol stands for. As I have been saying in my earlier write-ups, as Filipinos we cannot afford to be enemies especially in this foreign land. Let us, therefore, unite for in union there is strength! |
